Last May of 2023, KPTU hosted our first week long youth Fly-Fishing Camp completely free of charge thanks to a grant from the Kenai Peninsula Fish Habitat Partnership! We had 12 kids join us for a week of fly tying, casting, entomology, and conservation. They even learned how to build their own fly-rod that they got to take home at the end of the camp.
