KPTU and the Kenai Watershed Forum Map Salmon Habitat on the Kenai Peninsula

The Kenai Peninsula Chapter of Trout Unlimited in partnership with the Kenai Watershed Forum has received funding from the Trout Unlimited Embrace a Stream grant to document salmon habitat on the Kenai Peninsula. KPTU Youth Fly-Fishing Camp

Last May of 2023, KPTU hosted our first week long youth Fly-Fishing Camp completely free of charge thanks to a grant from the Kenai Peninsula Fish Habitat Partnership! We had 12 kids join us for a week of fly tying, casting, entomology, and conservation. They even learned how to build their own fly-rod that they got to take home at the end of the camp.
